7 Healthy Habits to Bring Abundance.

These are the healthy habits I’ve developed over the years that keep me grounded but growing, physically and mentally healthy and at peace in my mind and my body. I hope they help you too.

  1. READ- Read a minimum of 10 pages from a personal development book every day. The options are endless, but when you are enganged in personal development you become more self-aware, you become a better communicator and you keep growing into your true self.

  2. HYDRATE- Drink at lease 64oz of water per day. Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.

  3. EAT INTUITIVELY- We're saying goodbye to diet culture. Intuitive Eating is a self-care eating framework, which integrates instinct, emotion, and rational thought. Now would be a good time to ask yourself the question, "What's for dinner?"

  4. TAKE YOUR VITAMINS- Vitamins and minerals are essential to helping your body function as it should. While we get most of what's recommended by eating nutrient dense food, most of us need a little extra boost. That's where supplements come in — providing you with the support your body needs to stay healthy.

  5. MOVE YOUR BODY- Daily movement benefits both our physical and mental health. Do you like to be outside or indoors? Do you like to be by yourself or with others? Find ways to move that you enjoy and that feel good to you. Walking and light yoga are always my go-to ways to get moving.

  6. TIDY UP- My life motto seems to be "messy is stressy". Taking a few minutes a day to put things in their place, wash the dishes in the sink & throw in a load of laundry does wonders at reducing the visual physical clutter that in turn produces mental clutter. If you stay on top of it, it takes a lot less time than you think.

  7. DECLUTTER- You might need to do some deeper purgring before you can get into a daily tidy up routine and that's ok. Focus on purging one small area a day. Not an entire room. A counter, a drawer, one shelf in one cupboard. Make the task of decluttering manageable by doing a little bit at a time.
