FAQs

Why Coaching?
People seek coaching when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the next step in their journey. You may have tried moving forward on your own but found that you need support to gain fresh perspective and clarity. Coaching provides that—offering the tools, insights, and accountability to create meaningful change and help you move toward a more fulfilling life.

What is the difference between coaching & therapy?
Coaching focuses on the present moving into the future, while therapy often works with past experiences to heal and address underlying issues. In coaching, the relationship is co-collaborative—both the coach and client play active roles. I’m not a therapist or counselor, but a trained coach offering tools, support, and objective feedback. Together, we’ll focus on your goals, uncover potential barriers, and take actionable steps forward.

What is your coaching specialty?
My specialty is personal development, which means I help people create meaningful change in their lives—whether it’s in relationships, mindset, or personal habits. I also use the Enneagram as a powerful tool for self-awareness and growth. With nearly two decades of experience mentoring individuals, I work with clients who are seeking clarity and direction, helping them build healthier, more authentic lives.

What can a coach help with?
Here are some common areas where coaching can make a significant difference:

  • Improving communication skills

  • Conflict resolution and navigating tough conversations

  • Decision-making and strategic thinking

  • Goal setting and action planning

  • Time management and organization

  • Creating routines and structures that support well-being

  • Understanding and using the Enneagram for self-awareness

  • Developing sustainable self-care practices

What does a coaching session look like?
Coaching sessions are 1:1 and typically last between 45-60 minutes, held by phone or video. We begin with a brief check-in, then dive into the focus of the session—whether that’s an obstacle you're facing, a decision you’re making, or a new goal you’re working toward. I ask questions to help you gain clarity and insight, followed by identifying action steps and accountability to keep you moving forward.

What if I’m not sure if coaching is right for me?
It’s completely normal to feel unsure about whether coaching is the right fit. That’s why I offer a 15-minute consult to help you get a feel for my coaching style and approach. During the consult, we’ll discuss your goals and challenges, and I’ll share how coaching can help you create meaningful change. No commitment—just a chance to see if we’re a good fit.

How do I get started?
If you’re ready to explore what coaching could look like for you, start by booking a consult on my Home or About page. From there, we’ll talk about your specific needs and decide which coaching package works best for your budget and goals.
